* Feb 95, TR#44 INTERNET computer report, credit to Henry Franzoni. He said that a lady in Mount Upton was attacked by Wampus Cat a few weeks back, as he read in paper. She had been driving when the creature dropped on top of car, causing her to crash into a tree. Hairy hands clung to both sides of car roof, fingers in windows, and hairy legs and feet hanging off back of car.

TR 62 OCT *96 Bill Brann, 11/10/96.. Just recently heard of a sighting in that area (Rathbone, NY, August 1996),that took place three weeks ago. I didn't have the exact date at this time. It seems a turkey hunter was leaving the woods around 5:00 PM, when he saw a 7 foot tall hairy, two legged creature. Later that evening a second person saw the creature. next day he returned to the location and found five-toed tracks approximately 15-16 inches long. With a bulge near the big toe, perhaps large calluses or bunions. Prints seem to be the same as the ones in the photo I sent earlier this year. I'm waiting at this hour for more details regarding these sightings. The photographs were taken recently while we were filming the documentary on Oct. 14th, 1996. Nellie Ferry, Kelly Fuller and myself, near the location where multiple footprints were found 14 months earlier.

In Chapter One, P. 17, is a copy of the account: Sacket's Harbor (N.Y.) Sept. 6 ANOTHER WONDER Report says, that in the vicinity of Ellisburgh, was seen on the 30th Ult. by a gentleman of unquestionable veracity, an animal resembling the Wild Man of the Woods. It is stated that he came from the woods within a few rods of this gentleman - that he stood and looked at him and then took his flight in a direction which gave a perfect view of him for some time. He is described as bending forward when running - hairy, and the heel of the foot narrow, spreading at the toes. Hundreds of persons have been in pursuit for several days, but nothing further is heard or seen of him. The frequent and positive manner in which this story comes, induces us to believe it. We wish not to impeach the veracity of this highly favored gentleman - yet, It is proper that such naturally improbable accounts should be established by the mouth, of at least two direct eyewitnesses to entitle them to credit.

TR 61 SEPT 96 * Bill Brann, 2 Mt. View Dr., Hudson Falls, NY 12839 (investigator, wrote book on NY Bigfoot (write for). On Sept. 4th, I did hear of a sighting near Corning, NY. A young, 7 seven year old girl was riding her bike along a dirt country road where she claimed a big gorilla crossed in front of her. Her grandfather told her, "no, you seen a bear." "But Grandpa, I know what a bear looks like. It had no hair on it's face, and walked like a man." On the 29th of August a partial footprint was found in the ashes of a campfire of the night before. Witnesses claim whatever made the impression, stepped down and withdrew his foot before it left toe impressions. The print was like the castings I sent you earlier this )'ear.

NY WASHINGTON 1997 TR#72 * Bill Brann,10/25/97. The incident took place on July 4, 1997 on the west side of Skene Mountain in Whitehall, NY. Three hikers on the date I mentioned noted 6 X 13 inch tracks with a four foot stride. After following the prints for approximately 15 minutes they noted just off the left side of the trail a deep body impression in the tall grass. Greg Colm who is 6 feet tall laid down in a fetal position beside the impression. He was dwarfed in comparison. Whatever had laid there earlier was probably more than three times the body girth of Greg. He reported his finding to me but it wasn’t three days later that George Sands and I were able to go to the location with Greg and his father. Before we were able to reach the location a heavy rain prevailed keeping us from making any castings of the five toed prints. But I was able to get the overall body measurements. What had lain in the grass was nearly 8 foot tall. I’m not sure if you print the photo I enclosed if you’ll be able to distinguish the massive muscle structure that had laid there. In photo two, pictured with me is Greg Colm and his father Claus, both I found to be reliable and extremely helpful. Claus Colm is a respected businessman. Just a footnote, in the book Monsters of the Northwoods the Skene Country Club received lots of publicity due to the sighting of Bigfoot by the club’s owner Clifford Sparks. Skene Mountain is directly across the road from the country club (golf course).
