What type of Occurrence did you have? = OtherPlease tell us what happened (as much detail as you can remember) = In midJuly 2003 Rose davis and I were fishing on Frenchman Lake, in the Yukon, coordinates;N 62o 07'13 W 135o 42'46, when we came accross a strong smell similar to a mixa dirty diapers, rotten eggs, dog poop and pig manure, strong enough to make oureyes water. This lasted about two minutes, we were about 30 ft from shore, in asmall bay, at the time. We paddled to shore to see what it was but did not seeanything moving. We paddled down the Lake and back to the same place but couldnot smell anything else, it simply disappeared. During that period of time wenoticed that there was no wind at all and the birds seemed to stop chirping. Itfeelt like we were in a dead spot of the earth.Closest Town/ Road = Carmacks, Robert Campbell HighwayProvince/State = YukonDate = Mid July 2003Weather Conditions (if remembered) = Sunny and hot.
What type of Occurrence did you have? = Physical SightingPlease tell us what happened (as much detail as you can remember) =Hi,I live in Edmonton alberta, and on April 14/06 I had seen something that haschanged my opinions alot.I was traveling on hwy 43 north a relativley small(2lane)hwy that doesnt see alot of traffic.I travel this road several times a yearto get to our lake lot at shaws point on lesser slave lake.I routinley see alotof wildlife along this road and normally will not travel it at night because ofthe large amount of deer, and moose.Between ft.assiniboine and swan hills ataround 915pm I had seen something enter my vision from the right side of theroad up ahead at about 150-200 ft away,I initally thought i was seeing a mooseor bear(because of the size and dark color)but very quickly realized I wasseeing something walking on two feet and upright like a human,It was tall butnot overly tall as explained by most people who claim to have seen them.Ibelieve it was around the 6 ft tall mark and was rather gangely looking withlonger arms than a human that had a definate sway to them as it walked.Theanimal was moving across the road from one end of the tree line to the other, inwhat I would call a very fast walk but not running. It seemed to not even noticethat my car was coming toward it at high rate of speed(I didnt see it looktowards me),The sighting didnt last long but long enough to have it kick in fastthat I had seen a Bigfoot or what I now call Sasquatch.I was feeling veryspooked by what I had just seen and when I got to the spot where it had justwent into the woods on the left of me was not about to stop.I did have a camerawith me in the trunk of my car but there would have been no time to get apicture in the situation given even if I had decided to try to get a pic.Uponcoming back home a couple days later I travelled back through the area witheagle eyes and saw only deer mind you it was about 230pm,not the same time asbefore.I have travelled this area alot and never noticed anything like this.Idid a little looking around on the net in the last few weeks and have learnedalot about these animals,I also submitted a report to oregon bigfoot but onlybecause it was one of the first sites i came across and they have nevercontacted me even after leaving my phone # and e-mail just 4 days after this alloccured.I would like to learn more now and even go into areas were these animalsare said to exsist.I would also like to know if these animals stay within thegeneral area were they are seen???The area this sighting was made in is veryremote and there is thick forest as far as the eye can see,I would like toexplore this area more.If anyone is interested please feel free to ask anyquestions. What type of Occurrence did you have? = OtherPlease tell us what happened (as much detail as you can remember) = Thiswas told to me by my mother when i was a young girl. Sometime around 1920 as far as my mother remembers, she was seven or eight yearold at the time. She was with her family on a fishing trip on Lake Teslin. Onemorning she got out of bed quite early, just as the sun was coming up, andstarted playing by the water. All of sudden she saw a very large shadow thatseemed to be over her, with long arms that she tought were trying to grab her,so she started yelling and ran back to the tent. Her parents then woke up andstarted to look around but never found the source of the shadow.Closest Town/ Road = TeslinProvince/State = YukonDate = Early summer of 1920Weather Conditions (if remembered) = Sunny.

What type of Occurrence did you have? = Vocalizations HeardPlease tell us what happened (as much detail as you can remember) = Well,we (my Wife & I and our 3 dogs, Maggie & Katy2 Labrador Retrievers & Ellie--1Rottweiler) went down to the cabin this past weekend of 7-9 July 2006. Strangethings seem to happen every once in a while down there. Friday evening after we got all settled in and while we were sitting around thefirepit watching the fire I started hearing some whoops and then some highpitched howls very far off in the distance (probably 1 1/2 miles away). My Wifesays she didn't hear them but I have been listening for these types of strangenoises since my last "possible encounter" in March of 2005. She said that sheheard some possible coyotes, but that was all. These sounds weren't from anyanimal I know of in the woods of Missouri. They never came any closer than abouta mile from the cabin. We went to bed at about 10:15 after listening to the St.Louis Cardinals game (which they WON). We had the windows open and a cool breezewas blowing in keeping us nice and cool all night long (the temp dropped to 59degrees at 03:30AM). I was just drifting off to sleep (my Wife was alreadyasleep-heavy sleeper) and at about 11:05PM the night sounds stopped (even thewhippoorwills) and about 4-5 minutes later I heard something heavy-footedwalking in the brush maybe 45-50 yards from the cabin going down the road we useto get the tractor down to the meadow to brushhog our trails. No smell, no othersounds, just a very heavy set of footfalls like a very big animal would make. Wenever saw anything, just heard the footfalls I got up Saturday morning at 06:45AM, ate a light breakfast, got on the tractorand then brushhogged about 3 1/2 miles of trails all over our property. It tookabout 5 1/2 hrs as I make sure that the trails are about 6'-8' wide. I scared up3 different does in different areas of the property, 2 of the does had fawnswith them though the spots are almost completely gone. We took the dogs down tothe pond and even the Rottweiler went swimming for sticks we threw in the water. My Wife helped me by taking the SD cards out of the game trail cameras we haveon the property. We downloaded the pictures from them right to my laptopcomputer. We got some nice pictures of 2 turkeys, 15-17 does (about 9 had fawnswith them), a coyote, a fox, something that looked like the backside of a feralhog, but nothing of "the big guy" himself. A good day was had by all. We went totown for a real nice fish dinner and came back to the cabin around 8:30PM. Wewere sitting on the front porch at about 9:45PM when all of a sudden we heardsome squeaking sounds coming from the brush about 35 yards off to the right ofthe porch. It immediately started the dogs to growling and the Rottweiler went into herDEFENSIVE mode ready to attack. Then we heard some grunting sounds a littlecloser. At this point I had my Wife take the dogs into the cabin as I didn'tknow what was out there and the Rottweiler was ready to go into her CHARGE IT,RIP IT APART AND BE DAMNED WITH WHAT IT IS mode. I picked up my Glock .45 pistol(with the spare magazines) & got the 12 gauge shotgun out from behind the door(loaded with 00 buckshot). I sat out on the porch and listened, with the porchlight off, for about 15 minutes as the grunting (and this wasn't the noises awild hog makes) and squeaking continued until it went completely away. Againthere was no smell or unusual odor of any kind that I could smell. Later afterwe had gone to bed (about 12:15AM) the night sounds completely stopped and about4-5 minutes later I heard the same noises again for about 10 minutes (the nightsounds had stopped about 4-5 minutes before the noises started). Again the heavyfootfalls were heard going down one of the newly brushhogged trails about 30-35yards from on the left side of the cabin. They were going away from the cabin. Iwas the only one who heard them because my Wife is such a heavy sleeper. TheRottweiler and one of our 2 labs woke up and heard the footfalls. After thatnothing. We all got up this morning and after investigating the trails andfinding nothing (no footprints or anything else--except the Rottweiler wanted tofollow a scent trail down that trail), we ate breakfast, packed the truck up andleft to get home for a dinner with my Wife's Mother.
