having lunch at a picnic spot in the forest out side of Jasper. The shelter was
called Stone Mountain Picnic grounds. We had settled down for our lunch break
and one of the kids was walking about in the woods, he called to us to come and
look at something. When we found found him he showed us a very large footprint
that he had found on the forest floor, I knew what it was and so did my wife. It
was a very big bigfoot footprint, around 21 inches in length. We actually
measured it with a small tape measure that I have on my keychain. I have read a
couple of bigfoot books, so I knew what the footprint was made by. We left the
picnic shelter in a hurry.

driving on the highway towards banff.
We had just passed an overpass about 2 km outside of banff when my wife wife
yelled 'oh my god look at that thing' I thought she was pointing at a bear. When
i turned to look i saw a large hairy thing walking on two legs, it had just
crossed the highway and was walking up a hill in the ditch. Then it was gone
into the forest, we didnt stop to check it out, we just kept driving towards
banff. It was really tall much taller than me and i am 6 foot 1 inch tall. It
was covered in reddish brown hair and walked very fast, but it didnt run at all.
We only saw it for no more than 10 seconds, it didnt look at at us but just kept
walking. It was around 25 meters in front of our car.

not sure if this was a sasquatch or not; but I have a weird story to relate to
you.
In the fall of 2002 my friend and I were out hunting whitetailed deer about 50
kilometers from the Hamlet of Nordegg. We had set up our area and made the calls
the lure a deer within shooting range; but no deer came our way that day. At 7
o'clock or so we decided to call it a day and head back to our camp; which was
no more than a kilometer away as the crow flies. As we were walking through the
woods we noticed that someone or something was following us; parallel to us.
Whenever we would stop to listen it would stop also. This was starting to
un-nerve us. We eventually made it back to our camp and whatever was following
us broke off; we did not hear anything more once we reached our camp.
Would a sasquatch actually following someone through the woods? Have they been
know to do that before? What was it's motive, was it just curious as to why we
were in the area or was it it's intention to harm us?

smell in the air for a while, but I think it was just because of the many

bigfoot cross the road in front of our car. It was very tall and brown colored.
We didn't see it for very long because it just walked across the road from the
trees and then back into the trees on the other side. I don't know how tall it
was for sure but if I had to guess I would say over seven feet because it was
taller than the road signs.

camping near 100 Mile House BC in 1998. We heard something pacing through the
trees around our camp. What ever it was grunted and growled at us four or five
times. It made noise in the trees for about half of an hour then it left. We
could tell because we could hear heavy footsteps thudding on the ground as it
walked away.

some thing really big follow us through the woods near camp alexo last year.
whenever we would stop it would stop too. we could hear this really deep
breathing too. it stopped following us when we got closer to the camp.
it was really creepy, i still don't like going out into the forests now because
of that.

I just found your site and find it very interesting to say the least good job.
My sighting happened in May of last year the 10th to be exact and since then it
has been on CTV and in several newspapers but I wanted to tell you and your
reader's if it's okay. On this day I was driving from Merritt B.C. to Kamloops
B.C. on the Coquihalla (Coke-i-Halla) highway to pick up my wife and daughter
from the hospital. As I left home I had driven almost 38 km's or roughly 25
miles from home when off to my right about 300 feet away I noticed what I
thought were a father and son dressed in dark clothing out for a day's fishing.
Within a couple seconds I realized they weren't people at all and must be bears
MAN WAS I WRONG. As I was getting closer (around 150 feet) the bigger of the two
bent down to get what I thought was a drink from the pond and that's when I knew
110% that I was looking at an adult and juvenile Sasquatch. All of this is taken
place over about 12-15 seconds so I had lots of time to see and observe these 2
amazing animals. As the big one was bent down ( I should say kneeling down on
one leg) I could see the formation of the left leg where it meets the hip as it
rested on one leg.These animals were huge compared to people I know and I'd have
to say the big one must have weighed around 300-400 pounds while the smaller one
was around 200-300 pounds. The smaller one's arms just hung down it's side as it
stood there watching me and the arms on the big one were clearly bulky with lots
of muscles they just looked super fit and in shape to me.Both of their heads
seemed to be attached to the shoulders without a neck in the middle if that
makes any sense to you and their hair seemed to be almost combed it didn't
appear to be ratty or full of knots just well groomed. The adult never paid any
attention to me at all but the smaller of the 2 sure did and that's what will
stay in my mind the most I think because the way it watched me as I was driving
by really scared me and I felt that if I had of been out in the open that I
would have been in some serious danger. I could see it turning watching me the
whole time almost as if it were the lookout while the adult was occupied and by
the look of it, it was doing a very good job at being a lookout. Both animals
had dark hair on them but the smaller one had lighter hair on it's face I could
see that much for sure. I couldn't make out any real facial details other then
what I've mentioned because they were just a little out of reach for to me focus
and also because I was driving , I had to also pay attention to the road. When I
arrived at the hospital my wife instantly knew something was up but I didn't
tell her what until we were out of the hospital and back in the car that's when
I started trembling and told her what I had seen which she believed me and still
does til this day. On the way back home past the sighting area I slowed to an
almost stop but couldn't see much of anything from the other side of the highway
and because I had gotten a terrible fright from the smaller of the two, I
certainly wasn't going to be getting out of the safety of the car to go and have
a look NO THANKS... When I got home I went straight away to my computer to find
out anything and everything about these animals and eventaully I hooked up with
Thomas Steenburg who made his way up here to look at the site. We went with a
freelance reporter and Thomas had found what appeared to be a real possilbe
partial track but couldn't say for certain but I knew better. Since that
unforgetable day back in May 2004 I've been searching anyway possible every day
without missing a beat and I've found that there have been around 96 sightings
up here since roughly 2000. My sighting made CTV News and several newspaper
articles which helped a lot because I wanted to talk to other's who may have had
something like this happen to them and since then I've had some very credible
people contact me with their A/B sightings and these keep me interested enough
to keep searching. I'll never forget this event and now when I'm out in the
field I keep a close watch on my surroundings because I really was frightened by
the look of the smaller Sasquatch that day I wish everyone could have seen this.

stuck/burned into my thoughts are the way the legs were so visible on the adult
as it bent down and the way the stare from the juvenile sent chills and fright
through my very soul.
I can also remember thinking to myself that the only other thing these could be
are 2 men in made up suits but with all the hunters around here that would
certainly be a death sentence because someone would have shot them for sure had
they been near by. I had my windows down in the car and never noticed a smell
but then again I didn't know they were supposed to smell because I hadn't given
something like this much thought in the past so I wouldn't have even known what
to look for in the first place.
