Mackenzie River

Date: 1959

Occurrence: The witness spotted a large, bipedal, hair covered creature walking along the banks of the Mackenzie River. When the creature realized it was being observed, it fled into the surrounding forest. The witness estimated the creature’s height to be between seven [7] and eight [8] feet. The creature was covered in grayish-white hair and walked with a stooped posture. He did not wait around to see if the creature would appear again, instead the witness moved down the river in the opposite direction.

Witness: H. Burke.
