Canol Mountains

Date: August 1992

Occurrence: A Sasquatch (Bushman) was spotted in the Canol Mountains by a group of hikers. They watched the creature through a spotting scope as it scaled a ledge higher up the mountain. The following information was given on the creature that they observed:

- Reddish-brown in color

- An estimated height of seven & a half feet [7.5’].

- Climbed without any apparent difficulty

- Took less than five minutes to cover an area that would have taken them a half hour [30 minutes] to traverse.

The creature soon topped the ledge and disappeared from sight. The group decided that they had had enough hiking for the day, and heading back to their camp.
