Occurrence: There was an interview with a woman who saw a Sasquatch on a highway on Vancouver Island.

The creature stood in the middle of the road and blocked her passage. She seemed a very credible witness and explained that she was aware of the difference between this and a bear.

She described the creature as being ape-like but more human. It stood 6 to 7 feet tall.

The sighting lasted quite a while so she had a good look. The creature finally took off at the sound of approaching traffic.
