Occurrence: I share this story for more of a What not “if”! Maybe someone has experienced something similar. I have considered hypnosis; I did come face to face with this creature. I looked straight into its eyes, we were only inches from each other…..This is what happened...

When I was about 7 years old (1976-77), we lived on Vancouver Island, in Sooke, B.C. Canada. The trailer court we lived in ran horizontal down the hill towards the ocean with the forest in the back of the court, separating the trailers from the housing complex on the other side. It is set on the outer edge of the humpback mountain range. Near the West Coast Trail.
