Occurrence: My 11 year-old son and I go into likely spots at least twice a year for "Sasquatch hunting" trips, where we look for signs (tracks, nests, sightings etc.) and generally enjoy the wilderness (the "hunting" only involves a digital camera!). On this trip, we were trying to find the site of a previously recorded Sasquatch sighting from the late 1980s (where a hunting party had several encounters with a sasquatch over 3 or 4 days), and we found ourselves on a high ridge overlooking a number of southern valleys as it began to grow dark.
