Downing Lake

Date: October 1972

Occurrence: A large, hair-covered, bipedal creature was spotted near the south shore of the lake. As soon as the creature noticed that it was being watched it fled into the cover of the nearby bushes. The witness estimated the creature’s height at six to seven feet [6 – 7’] & said that it was black in color.
