Campbell River

Date: July 1954

Occurrence: A large, bipedal, hair covered creature was spotted as it moved along the highway outside of Campbell River. The witness estimated it’s height at seven [7] to nine [9] feet, & said that was covered in grayish-black hair. The creature fled for cover as soon as it spotted the witness’s vehicle approaching. The witness could not tell (positively) if the creature was male or female, but guessed that it was a male as he could not see any visible breasts. The entire sighting lasted no more than fifteen [15] to twenty [20] seconds, at the most.
