Pitt Lake
Date: Summer 1966
Occurrence: Two [2] hikers detected a strange odor in the air, later they heard something crashing through the bush, coming towards their location. They moved out into an open area & continued to watch the area where the noise was coming from. The men both spotted a large, hair-covered bipedal creature standing at the edge of the tree line, watching them. They estimated it’s height at six and a half to seven feet tall [6.5 – 7], the color of the creature’s hair was black. It stood and watched them for five to ten seconds [5 – 10], then retreated back into the forest & out of sight. The witnesses left the area as quickly as they could.
Witnesses: Rodney & Shirley Lush.
