Lower Bulkley River

Date: June, 14/ 1987

Occurrence: A fisherman spotted a large, black haired, bipedal creature crossing the river, upstream from his position. He observed the creature at an estimated distance of 75 – 80 yards. It’s height was estimated at 7 – 8 feet, he said the creature did not look his way even once when it was crossing the river. The entire sighting lasted for about 5 seconds, then the creature was gone from sight as it moved into the surrounding forest.
