Date: October, 11/ 1989

Occurrence: A large hair covered creature was observed running through the forest. The witness was amazed at how much ground the creature could cover in such a short amount of time. Within 20-30 seconds the creature was totally out of sight, but the witness could still hear the “thud, thud, thud” of it’s heavy feet hitting the ground. The witness thought that the creature was running from something, so she was fearful that something else may emerge from the forest at any moment. But nothing happened, though she did say she had the feeling that she was being watched by something. In her own words “It gave me the willies, it felt like there was something breathing down my neck.” She left the area with all possible haste. She described the creature as having reddish-brown hair and being around 6 feet tall.

WCSRO Researcher’s Note: Perhaps the creature that she sighted was running from another Sasquatch. This could account for the witness’s feeling of being watched, even though she could still hear the footsteps of the Sasquatch that she had observed in the distance.
