Alturus Trail

Date: June, 29/ 2004

Occurrence: A hiker finds very large footprints on the side of the trail. The footprints were leading into the forest. He followed the trail of footprints and they led him to a pile of pine boughs and dry grass. While he was looking around, he had the feeling that something was close by and that it was watching him. He left the area as quickly as possible. He estimated that the footprints were about 17-18 inches in length. He also stated that the pile of pine boughs and grass had a very offensive odor, one that made his nostrils burn and his eyes water.
