Ruby Creek

Date: September 1941

Occurrence: A Sasquatch visited a lonely house. One of the children said that a “Big Cow” had just come out of the woods. The adult witness went to see, and discovered that a Sasquatch was coming directly towards the house. The adult witness grabbed her children and fled towards the village. Later inspection showed that the Sasquatch had opened a large drum of salted fish, apparently not liking the taste it threw the drum across the yard. It then went down to the creek to get a drink, or perhaps just to wash the salt out of it’s mouth. The family never returned.
