Pembina River Valley

Date: June 1991

Occurrence: Strange screams were heard by a group of campers. The screams came from the direction of the river. There were four [4] screams in total, each lasting for five to ten [5 – 10] seconds. The witnesses said that they sounded like a woman in distress, but much louder than any human could make. The next day they found three [3] large footprints near the edge of the Pembina River, the estimated length of the footprints measured in at sixteen to seventeen [16 – 17”] inches & the estimated width measured in at four and a half to five [4.5 – 5”] inches in total. There was no actual sighting of the creature by any of the witnesses.
