Forest Trunk Road

Date: July 1992

Occurrence: Six [6] large footprints were found alongside the Forest Trunk Road, near Elk Creek. Two [2] of the six [6] footprints were clear enough to show toe marks, the other four [4] could only be considered as footprint-like impressions. The estimated length of the footprints measured between fifteen and sixteen [15 – 16”] inches & the width measured between five and six [5 – 6”] inches. No estimation of depth was given.
