Crowsnest Pass

Date: June, 29/ 1989

Occurrence: A woman found two [2] very large footprints beside a highway rest stop garbage container. The witness estimated the length of the footprints between nineteen to twenty inches [19 – 20”] in total. The estimation of their width came in between seven & a half to eight inches [7.5 – 8”] in total. The prints were pressed in two to three inches [2 – 3”] into the hardened soil near the garbage container.

We came to the possible conclusion that the creature may have been standing beside the container while it looked for some sort of food item that it had detected while passing by. Only the two [2] clear footprints could be found, other footprint-like impressions were found near the tree line, but these prove nothing. No further sign of the creature could be found.
