Banff National Park
Date: October 1963
Occurrence: A man passing through the park stopped his car beside the road for a quick break. While standing outside, he noticed a trail of twenty [20] to thirty [30] large footprints in the frozen mud of the ditch. He gave an estimation of seventeen [17] to nineteen [19] inches, for the lengths of the footprints. No width or depth estimates were given. The man stated that all of the footprints that he could see were “complete”, meaning that all of them displayed clear toe marks. No photographs were taken.
Witness: Daniel S.
