Athabasca River Valley

 

 

Date: June, 17/ 2000

 

Occurrence: Three men & one woman stopped a small Sasquatch on the banks of the Athabasca River. They estimated the creature’s height at 5’9” – 5’11”.  They said that the creature was cinnamon brown in color & acted very timidly towards them. When one of the men raised his hand to shelter his eyes from the sun, the creature bolted into the nearby forest. They could hear it moving through the forest, watching them, but did not catch sight of it again. They left the area soon after.
