Date: July 2002

Occurrence: Heard shrill screams coming from the forest around sundown; I think that they

were at least a kilometer away. They sounded like nothing I had ever heard

before. They still had great volume even though they came from so far away.

The next morning we found footprint like marks in the rocky mud along the banks

of a stream. If I had to take a guess; I would say that they were 15 or 16

inches long.
