Horseshoe Lake

Occurrence:

When

camping at Horse Shoe Lake years ago we heard scary screaming coming from the

woods around the campground. It whent of for a good bit of time; kind of sounded

like it was echoing around us; like there was more than one source for the

sounds. In the morning while out walking our dog; we found one very big

footprint near the mouth of the campground. It was probably 16 or 17 inchs long.

The first night out we

heard what sounded like somebody whacking a stick on a tree; the dog was also

acting funny; it wouldnt leave the camp and stayed near the fire.
