Forest Trunk Road

Date: April 1998

Occurrence: The witness stated that she heard “terrible screams” coming from a field beside the road. She stopped her vehicle to see what could be making these sounds & spotted a large, hair-covered, bipedal creature dash across the road 50-75 yards in front of her (vehicle). She stated that she observed the creature for no more than 3-5 seconds, so finer detail of the creature could not be seen. She quickly climbed back into her vehicle, and left the area at a higher rate of speed than she had been traveling before. She estimated that the height of the creature was between 7-8 feet & that it was black in color. The closest recorded sound to what she heard is the 1973 Puyallup recording, at least this is what she reported.
