Robert Dodson's "Bigfoot"

 This screenshot has caused a lot of discussion in the Bigfoot world. Some people think it's a real Bigfoot and others, like me, think it's simply pareidolia. I will do my best to show why I think this is nothing more than shadows, leaves and twigs.

Before I get started, I want to say that I do not think Robert Dodson is a hoaxer. I think he is a sincere and hard working guy who thinks he caught a Bigfoot on camera. I do, however, think he is mistaken.

I have watched this video over twenty times and I also zoomed in  on the area this face is supposed to be. The video is a bit lengthy for such a short clip. The first section of the video shows a clip from Robert's video played at regular speed. The second part is inverted and last is a zoomed in clip of the same location. For me, it was the zoomed in video clip that confirmed to me that what we see is not a Bigfoot face.

Instead of cherry picking one still image from the video, I will present some that were taken by me and some that were taken by other people who are having a discussion in a Facebook group.

The above screenshots don't show a clear face in my opinion with the exception of the last one but that is still a stretch of the imagination.

Likewise, in the screenshots below, I do not see a face that holds a consistent shape throughout the portion of the video clip in question.

Even for an alleged juvenile or toddler Bigfoot, this face is is very small compared to the leaves in the foreground. Also, if this is a young Bigfoot in such close proximity to a noisy human, where is the mother or father? Why didn't Robert see it? It was only mere feet in front of him.

I give my interpretation of what I saw in the video. The "face" is an illusion created by shadows, foreground leaves and some twigs.

Same location but a slightly different camera angle.  A little up and to your right is a tree trunk. I don't see anything that resembles a primate's face.

This screenshot shows the same spot without the red square.

These last two screenshots show a closer look and also show shadows, leaves and foliage, in my opinion.

The screenshot originally shown in one of Robert's video really gave no explanation, no context and no time stamp that the "face" was captured. The complete lack of information regarding this image, as I viewed it in his other video is a bit frustrating. I had to dig and ask Robert questions about the video, and to his credit he was quick to reply with some answers.

There are those who have put their seal of approval on this video but I haven't seen any serious breakdown or analysis. I certainly don't consider my analysis to be in depth and exhaustive but it does show why I am holding the position that I have. I do not see the face of a Bigfoot in this video clip.

This image below clearly shows the face of a gorilla. It is undeniable.
If an image of this quality was shown in Robert's video, I may have a different opinion.

Kelly Shaw is a Crybaby

Remember on my last blog when I said that Kelly was a detriment to himself? Well, he's gone and stuck his big foot in his big fat crybaby mouth again. The fucking baby just can't man up and admit when he was wrong. He has to blame someone else.

Jelly Jaw was hoaxed by some fun loving folks hoaxing a video. Normally hoaxes bother me but this particular one was so obviously not a bigfoot because it was just a dark blip on the screen.

Shaw is crying because he spent money to go to the location and check it out. He wanted to be the bigshot, first on the scene, so that's his problem. Nobody told him to pack up and go there. I never heard Jack and Jeff cry when they were hoaxed by those two kids. I never heard them cry when it came to being duped...many times.

Poor old jabber jaw has his panties in a bunch now because he made an ass of himself and we are all laughing at him. He's blaming the people that made the bigfoot video and Shaw wants his pound of flesh.

Kelly Shaw is whining like a bitch and he claims to have filed a complaint with the FAA against the guy with the Bigfoot video. The FAA assured Kelly? Really now? Shaw is known to lie a lot when things don't go his way. He's a bully and a thin skinned fucking pansy. If I bitched like he did my old man, RIP,  would have slapped me silly.

Shaw is a hypocrite, and a bitch. Don't forget bitch. I wonder if Mr. Bitch has his commercial pilot license for drones. If he does, he should produce it. How come Kelly can make monetized videos using his drone and hardpack101 can not? There is no law against using a drone to make a hoax video.

I visited the halfwit's channel and found a few interesting videos.

Look at that. Monetized drone videos. Fucking hypocrite. Crybaby bitch. Kelly Shaw needs to suck it up and put on his big boy pants. He should take it on the chin, man up, and just admit he was duped. It would likely have been less painful in the long run.


The problem with Shaw's alleged complaint is...well...it seems to be full of shit. A big huge pile of shit. Either Shaw is lying, which has been proven several times in the past, or the person he spoke to at the FAA is just as incompetent as Shaw.

Judging from hardpack101's video, he seems to be within the guidelines mentioned above.

Once again, it looks like hardpack101 is within the law. His video was made for shits and giggles. So what if it's monetized? (Click his video). His video is for recreation. It's not like he was hired to take aerial shots of the Empire State Building for Architect Digest  or some other magazine. THAT would be for commercial use. Nobody hired hardpack101 to make a hoax video.

Kelly Shaw just needs to shut his big lying yap. His big mouth gets his dumb ass in to trouble every time. He's a baby and a bully. Nothing more. Oh. He's a lying hypocrite as well.

If I got a dollar for every time I was threatened with the law, I could buy a fancy Starbuck's coffee. Not that I'd want to buy their overpriced shitty coffee though. I'll take Tim's any day. Double double.

Kelly Shaw is an Idiot

I am sitting here drinking a beer and I am almost at a loss for words. The sheer stupidity of this is almost beyond comprehension for the truly sane, critical thinkers. It's poetic and funny...very funny. On the inside I'm laughing so hard that my side truly hurts.

An alleged Bigfoot video popped up on YouTube recently and when I saw it, I immediately thought it was a hoax. A few too many red flags for my tastes but what do I know, I'm not an expert like some of the asshats in Bigfootland like Kelly Shaw, faker of the weasel photo...I mean Marten photo. That in itself was a gong show. Shaw has already proven himself to be a liar. Incompetent twatwaffle is only one step away.

As evidenced below, Kelly Shaw is a liar, and possibly a bit of an idiot. He was butthurt with the Bluff Creek Project so he had to make shit up in order to get even.

How do we know he was lying? Below is the truth, right from the photographer.

Today is one of those days where blogging becomes an absolute joy for me. I enjoy it more and more with every key stroke. I'm still laughing and can't stop.

Anyway, back to the alleged Bigfoot video. Here is the original video that brings us to the shit show of today.

Next up is the "follow up" by Mr. fucking  know-it-all. Mr. "my dead fallen tree is a Bigfoot". Mr. "my 40 ft. tall shadow in the trees is a Bigfoot". Left to his own devices, Mr. stump hunter can become a severe detriment to himself. Like today for example.

I could only skim through this video because Kelly is embarrassing himself so badly. I saw nothing in the video that clearly resembled a primate-like footprint. An impression in the ground is NOT proof of anything and nothing was ruled out. Must be Bigfoot.

I am a member in a group that takes a lot of shit from people who think we are raining on their parade. That's not the case at all. It's called evaluating the evidence and coming to a rational conclusion based on where the evidence takes us. In this case, and many others like it, this one screamed hoax.

The subject was so small and the clarity of the screenshot was so poor that this "Bigfoot" is inconclusive at best.

Some people get butthurt when their cognitive dissonance is messed with. Voicing any objective opinions are frowned upon. Logic gets you blocked. Rational thinking gets you labeled a troll.

Want some cheese with that whine?

Kelly Shaw the bigshot found "so much Bigfoot evidence", according to the above nonsense. How the fuck would he know what is Bigfoot evidence? Apparently Shaw doesn't know anything as it relates to Bigfoot. His video is glaring proof of that. He sees things that are not there. Here is the video that proves that.

Golly gee-whiz, would ya look at that. A video that confirms what we have been saying from the start.

Shaw even ignored Dr. Meldrum.

More importantly, this video shows us that we shouldn't believe everything we see. Proof is needed to confirm anything that might be a Bigfoot. A crappy video, blurry pictures and subjective opinions are not proof or facts. Neither one prove the existence of Bigfoot.

I wonder how Mr. jabber jaw will 'splain away this one.

Question everything.

Utah Sasquatch

It has been quite awhile since I have blogged about anything of interest. That loud mouthed buffoon, Kelly Shaw is still out there swiping sightings reports from the BFRO and then parroting the finding on his YouTube channel so he can buy new props for his drone.

Apparently, and unaware to me, there is a new kid in town. He goes by Utah Sasquatch but his name is allegedly Nathan Reo but I did find another person by a similar name. Nathan Reo Garn, but more about that later.

 I watched this kid's videos a couple of times and just chalked him up to being another self deluded stump hunter and shadow chaser. He reminds me of Timbergiant in obvious and subtle ways. A good looking charmer that the camera seems to like. After watching his videos a few more times the similar subtleties started to emerge.

  Like Timbergiant, Reo will plant seeds in the minds of his viewers as he's making his videos. He questions himself much like Timbergiant does. This lends an air of credibility among his viewers. There are many other subtle things but I won't get in to all of that. I hope people look for these clues on their own. I also find him to be a tad bit misleading. Nonetheless, his gullible fan base gobble all of it up, including Christopher Noel. The same Christopher Noel that believed Hank the Bigfoot was real. Nuff said there. I wonder if Yale has asked for its diploma back yet.

I have not seen the following video...or maybe I have. If I did, it was probably one of those videos where you roll your eyes, laugh, and wonder why anyone would believe the claims made in it.

I would post a link to the video but Mr. Utah made the video private. I can't stand thin skinned crybabies like him. The first time they get called out, they need to run to their safe space and make long explanation videos as to why they hid all of their videos. Funny, all the hoaxers do that too. Hmmm...

I'll get back to this video in a moment. To be honest, I laughed this guy off until I found out that not only did he start a GoFundMe  campaign, he already has over $5,000 donated by some gullible rubes.
According to Reo he needs $20,000 to buy a camera or ten. 20K is a shit load of money, especially money for a hobby. I personally think that if a "researcher" is going to solicit for money they should at least have 1.) some of their own equipment funded by them. 2.) very good evidence to justify the need for the equipment. Reo has none of that. He has charm and a smile, big fucking deal. Show me something more than a dark blip in a video.
  This is reminiscent of Timbergiant again. Remember when TGBF was gifted a $2,500 video camera? Ask Jimbergiant where it is now.

I am by no mean rich but I have funded all of my own equipment. I saved and purchased a great, used camcorder for $850, which was half the going price.
It records in 1080p, 1080i and everything below that. It records up to 60fps and does time lapse. I can take high quality photos with it. The camera also feature FULL manual controls and I believe that is vital when you need to zoom in. It allows you to focus in on the subject you want.
  It comes dual XLR ports for superior audio recording and both channels can be adjusted manually. She is a heavy beast but manageable for an amateur like me.

 So, I ask myself, WHY would an amateur Bigfooter with zero evidence need $20,000 for a camera?
Even a broadcast quality camera won't run that much. Maybe $5,000 or under would get you a good used camera like that. For YouTube videos almost any HD camcorder will work well.

Maybe he needs a thermal camera. Oh wait. I bought the Seek Thermal for my phone for $200. FLIR makes a thermal now that is around the $600 mark.

   Maybe he needs a good digital camera. Oh....I paid $149 for my Kodak that shoot at 14megapixels. Again, it's not high end but it produces good, clear images.

  Maybe he wants 35mm film cameras because you know, it's difficult to manipulate film photographs. While that may be true, the alleged subjects can be fabricated.
  I have three 35mm film cameras, each with their own lens and that totaled about $200 and includes a carrying case. The cameras are mechanical and require no batteries to take pictures. They only power the light meter. A stand alone light meter can be bought for $5. I have one of those as well.

I have some crappy audio recorders and some crappy night vision that doesn't amount to much. By my calculations, I have spent approximately $1,500 in recording gear. I have equipment accessories and a few other cameras. Even if I spent $2,000, it's a far cry from the $20K that Reo wants and there is not a thing wrong with the gear I have. I could use a sweet audio recorder or great parabolic microphone but it's not in the cards right now.

  My point is that Nathan Reo has committed no investment to his research. No cameras and nothing to show. I have recorded a couple of things I find interesting but I don't use that as leverage to ask for funds for other gear.
  He has no detailed mission statement. The people donating get nothing for their money except a big white toothed smile.

There are people who are homeless and people who are hungry and this clown is asking for $20,000 so he can support his hobby and ego. Do golfers set up GoFundMe campaigns for a new set of golf clubs? Fuck no.

At least make an effort to get some gear. Any gear. A cell phone doesn't cut it.

Okay. I took a couple of days off for the smoke to clear before I continued with this blog post.
I am usually quite hard on people who lie and/or hoax but I really want to like Nathan and I want to believe that he is above board. I watched his 'Bread Crumbs' video which has been removed, just like the rest of his other videos. That right there is a red flag. His body language was a red flag.
A word of advice to Reo. If you have very thin skin, Bigfooting is not for you.

  My biggest jaw drop was when Nathan, with a straight face, repeatedly lied about his knowledge with regards to video and audio editing. Either he lied about not knowing video editing or he lied about his resume on his linked in profile, which he conveniently deleted.

My laptop was acting up so I used a screen recorder to capture his profile. I had a feeling he would delete his Linkedin. All hoaxers delete shit so this isn't looking good for Utah Sasquatch.

I have to ask WHY would Nathan scrub his YouTube channels (yes, plural) and his Linkedin? He has two other channels unrelated to Bigfoot that he cleaned up.

Why go through all the hassle of deleting his internet presence when he could just jump in a group and answer questions like he said he would, or could do? This seems like the crybaby way out and it doesn't seem to be the first time he ran to his safe place after being questioned.

 I want to believe this guy but he is making it extremely difficult. Pulling posts, deleting comments, profiles and videos do not give him any credibility in my opinion. It's like he has something to hide. He can always say "I never said that" and his groupies would likely believe him. I know what I heard and saw in his Bread Crumb video. I bet he saw the same things upon reviewing it and decided that it didn't work in his favour. He is a counselor and alleged Psycho Therapist/Tech, so I'm sure he knows how to be convincing to his fans. The sympathy card and long drawn out explanations didn't cut it for me. Perhaps he needs more acting lessons.

If Nathan Reo doesn't want to be questioned or critiqued, he shouldn't be in Bigfooting and he shouldn't ask for $20,000 for a thermal camera. Any results would be inconclusive anyway.

Kelly Shaw - Liar and Hypocrite

My friend, Richard Allen has already covered this in his own blog, here but the sheer karma factor has forced me to add my own two cents worth.

  Some of you may be aware of Kelly Shaw and others may not. Shaw is an alleged Bigfoot researcher who likes to name things after Bigfoot, such as Sasquatch Ridge, Sasquatch Holler, Bigfoot Valley or what the fuck ever stupid name pops in to his poorly lit cranium.

  Kelly's Bigfoot evidence to date consists of trees, shadows, and stumps but he tries his best to say they are Bigfoot. I have not seen any follow up by Shaw to redeem himself and his "evidence". Mostly he just likes to talk.

And talk he does. I have lost count of how long it has been since Shaw has been harping on Steven and Jamie of the Bluff Creek Project but it has been a long time. For some reason, Kelly Shaw has an axe to grind with the duo who run the project with other people.

Shaw has accused Steven Streufert of being lazy because Shaw himself is too lazy to clean out his shit filled ears. There was an interview with Steven that is still available online. Steven had said that if the project grew in size and area that the Project may consider hiring students to help them retrieve cameras. This work could lead to class credits for the students but I'm not sure on how any of that works. I listened to the interview and I know what was said. Anyone with the IQ above room temperature knows what was said and what was implied. The Project would possibly seek *help* with their endeavor.

  Kelly Shaw heard this, shredded any truthful parts until he was left with a bare bones chassis of what was actually said. From there, Shaw embellished and just plain made up shit. He got it stuck in his thick melon that Steven from the Bluff Creek Project was going to sit back while other people did his work for him. THAT is a fucking lie. It's a lie and Shaw knows it...or he should know it, unless his comprehension skills are so bad that he requires further education.

Streufert NEVER said he would retire and pass off the physical work to students. The students would be a compliment to the existing crew of people who would need to retrieve who knows how many cameras spread out over who knows how many square miles. The discussion about this was a "what if" scenario. What if the Project became huge, or what if the project carried on for the next 50 years?
That was what I walked away with from listening to the interview.

Shaw found something, or so he thought. He twisted it, added his own bullshit and then peddled it in any group that would listen to him cry. I'm not sure why Shaw has it out for Steven Streufert. Maybe because it's because Shaw can't debate with Steven. Maybe it's because Shaw is proven wrong every time he opens up his lying piehole. He call Steven a coattail rider of the PGF, yet Shaw will drive around to various locations so he can parrot old BFRO reports on his YouTube channel. Am I the only one to see the hypocrisy here?

Under normal circumstances I try to stay out of one on one arguments between people but I will defend my friends when I think they are right.

Kelly Shaw has singled out Steven for whatever reason. I really have no clue where his hate comes from. He demonizes Steven when it really isn't warranted. Maybe Shaw is upset that he isn't as intelligent as Steven. Maybe he's bitter because he loses debate after debate on any given topic.
It's very sad that an individual is attacked, bullied, and relentlessly bothered because he is intelligent.
It's difficult to beat Steven in a debate. Some have beat him but not by much. I am not one of those people but I have no ill will towards Steven for that.

People get up in arms over racism, sexism and many other "isms" but it seems acceptable by some that it's okay to bully people who are educated. Steven runs a book store for fuck sake. I bet he reads books like some people drink coffee. It's obvious to me that the man wants to learn as much as he can about any topic that he finds interesting. Is that a sin? Where the hell did this anti-intellectual movement come from? When did it become okay to bash the smart people?

I think Shaw is butthurt that he gets his ass kicked every time. Maybe a bit of self education will put Kelly on a more level playing field one day. I suspect that won't happen any time soon because he is consumed with hatred. Kelly Shaw is so consumed that he has resorted to outright fabrications.
There is no way out for Shaw now. Any credibility he had is shot to hell. Kelly only has himself to blame.

This. This photo right here is what destroyed Kelly Shaw. It's very amusing that the photo is of a weasel. A long tailed weasel to be exact.

Kelly knows so little about wildlife that he called this a coastal marten. When I was trying to find the real source of this photo, I was searching for Humboldt Martens. What I noticed was that the Marten looked nothing like this animal above. The face was different. The Marten has pointier ears, different fur colour and length. I started to search for weasels instead and it took me all of five minutes to find out that this little fellow (or female) is a long tailed weasel.

I will give you the context in a screen shot.

As you can see, Kelly immediately tries to come off as some self proclaimed expert on the Humboldt Marten. Maybe Shaw doesn't realize that people actually studied the animal, it's habitat, range and numbers. You know, factual things that are written in articles and put on websites. So far Kelly has lied about what kind of animal he allegedly took a photograph of and he has lied about the rarity of the Humboldt Marten.


You may think to yourself "so what?". Kelly could be blowing hot air just to ruffle feathers. I might be able to accept that if it wasn't for the fact that my friend and awesome amateur detective, Skyla found the source for the weasel photo.

There you have it folks. Kelly Shaw swiped a copyrighted photograph so he could tell more lies about Steven, and lies about an endangered animal that the Bluff Creek Project managed to photograph from one of their trail cameras. Shaw is bitter over someone else's success.


As if this wasn't enough, Shaw once again opens up his stupid piehole to tell another lie.

Look at that! Shaw challenges people to post the photo that he claims he has a copyright on. Not only have I posted the photo but I will post it again. Go ahead, sue me you worthless lying sack of shit. Shaw is the one who needs to be ashamed of himself. He is a pathetic excuse of a human being. He's a window licker, mouth breather and all around knuckle dragging moron.

Shaw doesn't have any facts on his side so he needed to completely fabricate a story in order to vilify Steven and the BCP.

Kelly Shaw has had his ass kicked by pure facts. This isn't anything I made up. The truth speaks for itself folks. There is no denying that Kelly Shaw is a liar. He knowingly lied in order to prop up his over inflated ego.


I would ask you this. Since Shaw has no problem lying about things such as a photo of a weasel and the honor of good people, I have to wonder if he has lied about his Bigfoot evidence, photos, videos and anything else related to Kelly Shaw's "research".

Shaw was quick to label people hoaxers based on weak evidence that was clearly taken out of context but he seems to fancy himself as above the "law". Based on the evidence in this blog post, I have no problem labeling Kelly Shaw of the RMSO a hoaxer. There is no way out for Shaw. There is no back pedaling and no denying. Kelly hung himself with his own hatred and with his own web of lies.
